Since your plasma is less then a year old, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get it fix under warranty. If the plasma keeps shutting off by itself, that is not normal and should be repair.

What connection interface are you using. Can you try connecting another form of media and see the performance e.g connect to a computer or another TV box using another cable. If this persist, please visit a TV repair shop or call your manufacturer.
Short circuited PCB inside it. Any one printed circuit board will have short circuited component/s; in turn draws tremendous current during switch-On, and the short circuit protection circuit inside the TV activates, and shuts it down, is happening now. Contact any service technician, or authorized service centre for Panasonic. This is not a user repairable fault.

Shutdown can be caused by many different things in the set. Do you get an blink codes from the power LED on the front of the TV? You can order boards and get help from the technicians from part suppliers I often use.
Check your power source (electrical outlet) and the power cable. If electrical outlet is ok, try using a different power cable (the cable that you plug on to the electrical outlet going to your TV set). If everything is ok but still no indicator light, call your technician there might be a problem with the TV power supply.
check batteries on ur remote even hide it in other room/if not it could be power supply over heats it
will shut down/another thing go to menu reset to factory default.
Would need model number to search properly. On some sets a capacitor "C2601" of Y-Drive assembly contacts the audio bracket and it is damaged, can cause a abnormal picture.
