G4502X1/01 Freezer (NEFF)

Has been working perfectly.

I stored it in my garage for two months and then installed it at my mums.

On plugging it in the start relay ignited. Is it worth replacing the relay or does it indicate a more serious fault?

Tom

The starting components are a very cheap fix. I would replace the relay.

Hotpoint fzfm151p. Bought a year ago. Worked fine up until I moved this month. My dad placed freezer in garage by mistake. Lights flashed (all) ever since it was in there. I've just moved it into the house...

Freezers have an electric motor within to pump the freezer gas around. Its possible the movement has caused a problem. Get ban appliance shop or tech to check it out.

Drain tube and floor of uprite freezer is plugged with ice. Have previously thawed with a heat gun and it freezes up again in a week or two. The freezer is in our south facing garage, one car parks...

I bet you don't have that problem in the summer,It is freezing cause of the outside air in the garage gets below freezing. For a quick fix install a heater wire they make them for gutters and plumbing and just run it down the length of the tube and that will do it,short of heating your garage or insulating it

Freezer Problem

If it started to cool again the compressor was running. Check the condenser and make sure it is clean. Provide as much air movement through the garage as possible . 100 degrees is a high temperature to be operating a refrigerator in.

Puddle

all frost free freezers have to defrost the coils. there is a drain pan or cup in the bottom .. if it overflows or it can't drain out you will get puddles check the drain hose and drain cup or pan.. also check to see if you have ice inside the bottom of you freezer that would be a plugged or freezing drain hose..call for services if only 4 months old...
