First of all, we noticed freezer side upper part accumulated a lot frost. On the fridge side, upper part is really warm, while the lower part is freezing cold (vegetables are frozen).
We unplugged once and cleaned the whole refridgerator. Seemd better for a few days then back again. We found ice on the fridge side of the holes between fridge and freezor.
Is it possibly fan problem? Since the lower fridge is very cold, could it be ventilation problem in the fridge?
Either the evap fan has a problem, or the defrost system has failed. You should never see frost in the freezer section as the defrost sensor should sense that the coils need to be defrosted before that much frost accumulates.
Unplugging to clean out helped because the frost got a chance to melt away.
If you find the evap motor is running, then the things to check are the defrost sensor, the defrost timer, and the defrost heater.
