Question about Sharp ELECTRONICS PGF212XL PROJECTOR PGF212XL 2400 Projector Lamp
Ive tried takeing out the lamp and putting it back in (same lamp) and unplugging it and plugging it back in
SORRY - it needs a new lamp. It is a protection for the projector so the bulb doesn't explode.
I purchase hitachi projectors with 3 year bulb warrenties now for our school as cheaper in long term

SOURCE: PG-C45X projector wont power on
To solve this problem, simultaneously press the "Input", "Enter", and "Undo" buttons. While holding these buttons, press "On". When the project turns on, you should see "LAMP 100%". This indicates that you have successfully reset the lamp life timer.

Check the heat sensor fitted with the lamp assembly. If this sensor does not work properly, or its control circuit has some trouble with it, it will always give a high temperature signal to main system control, will finally shut it down. OK.
