have you checked belt or brushes in motor

Check the machine filter, clean it and this problem might go away. Use manual for locating the filter.

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate, and remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum, remove and clean plastic filter inside hose.

check drain hose lid switch ....plugged pump or drain hose last timer

This is true. Just check if the machine has one or two water connections. If it has two you need a hot connection also

inside hose at back ,take back lower panel off black hose filter inside.

firstly you will need to take out the soap drawer and thoroughly clean it and the spray holes that are above the soap drawer. secondly i would reduce the cold water pressure to a fast trickle/jet that way it will not be spraying all over the place. the filter sounds as though it will need cleaning out. unplug machine, from the rear is a metal plate, remove it to gain access to the bottom hose-this incorperates the filter. undo secure jubilee clip and lower hose. remove debris and check the hose and pump for further obstructions. you should be ok after that. try to beat out the dog blankets outside b4 washing to remove as many hairs as poss. tone.

TRY CHECKING THE BOARD ON THIS MACHINE ESPECIALLY THE MOTOR CONNECTION. WHAT YOU WILL AHVE TO DO IS PUT THE DIAL IN TO THE OFF POSITION ( ONLY AS GUIDE ) THEN DISMATLE THE BOARD FROM THE FRONT FACIA. HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT THE MOTOR PLUG CONNECTION SECTION OF THE BOARD CHECK TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY TRACKS THAT HAVE BLOWN. I RECONDTION WMA ALL DAY EVERYDAY AND I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE ONCE AND AM THINKING YEH THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. OR IT COULD BE THE TACO ON THE END OF THE MOTOR BUT THIS IS VERY RARE FOR HOTPOINT WMA UNLIKE THE HOOVER MACHINES.
