Your phone may need a firmware flush. Please take your phone to the dealer so they can flush the firmware and install newer firmware.

Menu key and some numeric keys are not working(nokia 6300)

Hi,

If only two buttons are not working then it means there is carbon on the particular buttons if your an technician then you can do it easily if not then please visit your nearest Nokia service center (nokia care) or any mobile repair center they will do it.
If any 3 buttons are not working in a row then there is problem with your Keypad ID you must change it from Nokia service center (nokia care) or any mobile repair center they will do it.

Regards,
Harish

This set of Nokia has universal problem with it.

Actually, you can get rid of it by replacing your keypad to new one.

Hi. I own a Nokia 6300 and recently the keypad just stopped working. Its not all they keys, only 1, 2, 3 and the selection button. I've tried removing the keypad and seeing if it works then, but it dosent....

the problem is probably with the actual keys and not the battery. If the battery was the problem then it would effect the whole phone not just four buttons. Try opening it up and cleaning the buttons with an old brush and leaving it for a while. If that doesnt work then your nest course of action is to take it in to your local shop who will definitly be able to fix it.

Motorola razr v3 keypad problem!!

Press all of the buttons and keys on the phone one by one with it powered off and the battery out. Make sure they all feel normal to the touch and when pressed. Check the buttons on either side of the main display carefully, as these tend to get stuck more than others.
