This is indicative of a bad flash; I would recommend formatting your USB stick (FAT32), redownload the pkg update (available here: http://esupport.sony.com/LA/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=KLV32BX300&upd_id=6232&os_id=25 ), and performing a firmware upgrade again.

Turn the TV on.
Insert the USB storage device into the USB port on the back of the TV. Note: The USB storage device can only be inserted into the USB port slot one way.
Turn your TV off by pressing the power button on the TV
Press the POWER button again. The POWER indicator will be green for 30 seconds, followed by the PIC OFF/TIMER indicator slowly flashing amber, and the STANDBY indicator is red.
After several minutes, the TV will turn off and then turn back on to complete the update.
1. Turn on the device with which you want to use the remote control.
2. Locate a 3-digit code for your device.
3. Press and hold the corresponding button on the remote control
(TV, VCR, SAT, DVD, CAB or AUD) for approximately three seconds unitl the POWER
INDICATOR illuminates.
4. Enter the 3-digit code for your device within 30 seconds. The POWER
INDICATOR shuts off.
5. Press power button to verify correct code entry. If the device shuts off,
the code was entered correctly. If the device does not shut off, repeat steps
3-4, using a different code.
Automatic Programming With automatic
programming, the remote control tests all the codes available on the Code List and assigns the correct
code for the selected device. 1.Turn
off the device with which you want to use the remote control. 2. Press and

AUD) until the POWER INDICATOR illuminates. The remote control is in
programming mode. 3.Press and

to store the code. 5. Press any

Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for
about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if
your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install
that before anything.
