Problems transferring video to pc

I have a JVC Everio GZ-MG 130U. I used to be able to transfer my videos to my Mac automatically. All of a sudden, my videos won't transfer. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

You can possibly search for the drivers to the hardware. You can search for the cd that came with the hardware or you can go to radioshack and ask a computer geek there they are always willing to assist you.

I have an apple laptop, how do I transfer from my camcorder to a dvd on my apple.

You do not need drivers to get the footage from tape to a Mac. You do require a firewire cable and use iMovie or Final Cut to capture.

I need a manual for a jvc GZ-MG130EK

JVC have a support site at: http://support.jvc.com/consumer/support/index.jsp with a User Manuals download facility but the link http://books.jvcservice.com/ appears to be broken. You could try contacting them and ask for one.

The link http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/91/LYT1668-001C.pdf has a mnual that covers the
GZ-MG 130U if that is any good to you.

Can't transfer videos from JVC Everio camcorder onto my MAC

Share: How to import .tod files from JVC Everio HDD Camcorder to iMovie?

Requirements: iMovie (Part of the iLife 08 package)

Step 1: Connect the Everio to the Mac (Via USB)
Make sure you are powering the Everio from the mains before connecting your JVC Everio Camcorder.

Step 2: Playback on PC
Select “Playback on PC” on the Everio, once connected you will see the Everio HDD symbol appear on the desktop. The video files on the Everio are stored in the SD Folder/PRG***/MOV***.MOD.

Step 3: Open iMovie
Once you open iMovie, you will see that it recognizes the Everio straight away and will attempt to import your video.

You are now ready to use iMovie to edit your video files.

If need change .tod files to common video formats like mov, mp4, m4v, mpg, mpeg, dv, flv, avi, wmv, 3gp, mkv, mp3, aac, wma, m4a, etc. Mod Tod Video Converter for Mac is a good choice. The program can also convert mod tod to ipod, mod tod to iphone, tod to apple tv, tod to blackberry and more devices!
