Blurred images Used my camera a week ago and images were great, as always. I picked it up this week and the image in the viewvinder is blurred. When you take a picture, it is completely distorted and the colors are off. The screen itself is fine because when you review previously taken images they are sharp and clear. Is this fixable?

Check for recall notices in the US, Canada and Europe. Mine went through the same thing. Repair shop told me the CCD was dead, but neglected to informm about the recall readily available. Found out about it through a friend, sent off the camera, and have it back from Nikon now with new CCD for free (and they fixed the faulty flash as well). Form for recall in Canada is available at http://nikon.ca/advisory/5700_en.asp .

Camera constantly takes blurred pictures

Appears that the auto focus mechanism is not working, This anomaly is most obvious in lower light situations when focusing is much more critical.

If the camera was new and two months old I would either return it for another one or have Nikon repair the lens assembly under the terms of its warranty.

I have sony cyber shot 5.1 megapixel camera, and images are not shot clearly there is always a blur image. Please show me the setting of image resolution.

this s bcoz of the image setting...bcoz there s two options one s landscape and portait..if u select landscape more memory will be used and the image clarity will be very gud...and if u choose the other the image clarity will be little bit low...so u jus check the image settings...if each photo holds a memory of 2mb...then the photos clarity will be very gud...if the image memory s of few kbs then the image clarity will be less!!!!

Problem with image stabilization?

hi there
It is a regular problem with cameras that have a lot of zoom; optical or digital. a very little shaking of hands can really blur the image.
Image stabilization actually supposed to help. But if you are Ok with it off, that's great.
i would recommend resting your elbow on something solid (like someone's shoulder or a wall or anything like that.
One more thing - try inhaling and holding your breath at the moment you press the shutter release.
The best solution would be to buy a Tripod; even better would be to buy one which has a remote wired control.
take care and enjoy blur free images..

Blurred Images/ Photos

Check out the Fiji Tech support team. Depending on the age of the camera there may be a swap out option. Independent repair will not be an economic prop.

Blurred image

The viewfinder image should look sharp & clear, as long as the camera is turned ON. If the camera is OFF, the viewfinder image will blur. At least this is how it works on my C2000z. If your viewfinder is always blurry, I would return the camera for exchange.
