One month past my 24 month warranty my Grundfos CS Recirculator stopped working. The motor housing gets very warm, but I've noticed others being told that "hot" equals a ruined motor. How "hot" is hot enough to cause replacement. I can place my hand on the motor housing and it warms me up nicely in this uncomfortable winter weather. But I do not need to withdraw my hand at any time. Before I continue troubleshooting, I think I need to know if it is worth the time.
At approximately $238.95 new, it pays to do a bit of troubleshooting.
Below are some sites that may help:

There are no repair parts for these pumps, and nobody at Fixya has reported
taking Grundfos apart and repairing it.

Do you have more than one zone? If so, it is difficult to tell if the circulator in question is actually running. A trick is to get a screwdriver and place the metal end on the front of the circ and the other on your ear. You will hear it if it is running. If you do hear it, is the circulator itself very hot to the touch? If it is, it may be burnt out, or the zone needs to be bled of air. Another doubtful, but possible, answer is that the circulator is installed backwards. There is an arrow on it and it should be aimed towards the flow of water.

pumps of this type will fail quickly without water. They are lubricated, and cooled by the fluid that runs through them.
SOURCE: After replace the cold water
Many times when pipes are worked on, the work loosens sediment that was built up in the pipe.
Sediment is probably why cold water line was replaced.
That's why faucet aerators get clogged up after pipes are worked on.
It sounds like your grundfos pump got clogged too.
Immediately unplug the pump so motor is not overheating.
Motors are meant to turn freely and can be damaged when blocked.
Take apart the pipes at grundfos pump and see if you can clean out the line.
If line cannot be cleaned or pump doesn't restart, then the grundfos has to be replaced.
Also look at adjoining pipes and see if there is a clog in nearby elbow, especially where galvanized and copper pipes join..

Sounds like you have sediment built up in the pipes, and maybe the furthest faucet is the gathering place.
Take off each shut-off valve at furthest faucet and connect a water hose that flows into nearby toilet bowl.
You can buy garden-hose-to-1/2-pipe adapter at hardware.
Open water so it flushes the line into toilet bowl.
Then clean out valves and reassemble shut-offs and grundfos connection.
Remove faucet aerator and flush line up to faucet.
Install new aerator.

It sounds like thermostatic operation is not working.
I cannot offer specific repair, but can offer resources
1) Grundfos service options and warranty information + local distributor of parts and service center finder:

2) Terminal strip and capacitor replacement does not show UP1510SU

3) Open following link for recirculation system resources including some manuals, but I don't have your exact manual.

I can see your product on following link
http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/plumbing/recirculators/waterrecirculatorindex.asp
4) Recirculation systems operate 2 ways: with thermostat or timer.
Thermostat is supposed to turn off circulation when water reaches 100 degrees approx.
Until thermostat is repaired, you can work around problem by moving slide switch to TIMER and set timer to run intermittently so temperature at faucet is moderated.
5) Adjust temperature at water heater
