Stuck drill bit in black and decker 18v cordless drill

Lock the chuck and undo the collar. Lock is midway between Screw and Unscrew.

Or if it is stuck because the drill was really too big, put the drill on the floor and hold it with your foot, grip the drill with channel lock pliers and hit the jaws with a hammer away from the drill.

Ryobi 18v drill stuck chuck

easy to fix
with the drill not running

grab the bottom part of the spinning part of the drill nearest the drill's motor.
then
grab the spinning shaft bit nearest the drill bit
pull them apart slightly

when the two parts are pushed together thay lock the chuck

I own a ryobi hammer drill that does the same thing

I have a drill bit stuck in the head. I put the bit straight in and now its stuck. Is there anyway to take it out?

Grab the drill head as hard as you can put the drill on drill setting and the highest number setting and put it reverse

Bit stuck in drill

OK, try to grab the chuck tightener and loosen by pressing lightly on the drill throttle button in whichever direction it takes to undo the stuck in drill bit.

I do this all the time.

I have an 18 volt hammer drill combo drill. I

Do the same in reverse, if possible. Also, you could use two channel locks as most of those chucks have two rings, the narrow one towards the drill itself being attached to the motor. However, make sure the screw inside the chuck is tight first -- I've seen those back out and block chucks open.

Drill bit is stuck inside my makita drill chuck

Try using the low torque setting on the drill when reversing and something to assist you getting a better grip to hold the chuck from spinning when reversing. This may help.
