check the little 1"long x 1/4" wide white plastic fuse located on the dryer blower housing in the lower rear area, its held in place with 1 hex head screw,if its open dryer wont heat
This is usually caused by a blown thermal cut-off which blows and cuts power to the heating element due to the failure of the high limit-thermostat to cycle off and regulate the heating element temperature. Check the dryer for clogged lint screen and/or restricted vent system then replace both thermostats when either of them has failed.
Both are located on the blower housing.
Check for burnt out heating element and electrical connections to element and thermostats. If okay check all thermostats, operating and high limit, with an ohm meter. All must be in closed position. If element, thermostats, and electrical connections good then check timer.
First of all please check the thermal fuse. If it is out okay (by-passed or tested with an ohmmeter), then check the heating element. This can be checked by removing one of the wires on the heater and testing it with an ohmmeter. Or,removing the element and visually inspecting it.
you checked it with a meter ofr continuity?? if so, then check hte littl white "fuse"(locasted directly in the middle of back of machine) and both of hte thermostat on the top and bottom of the heater assy. thay should all have perfect continuity
