hi, check the side edge of card for a slid switch,this can lock or unlock a card, also if that's no good then ,put card in PC and reformat it to fat32.
Check your local professional camera repair service. Usually, the diagnosis is free or rolled into the fee to repair it. Otherwise, contact your camera's manufacturer's service and repair or warranty service. If your camera is past the warranty, they still will probably fix it or refer you to one of their authorized repair centers.

Kodak no longer repair... Buy a Kodak P20 flash (or similar) to go on the hotshoe, and set the flash to external only in the camera menu... works a treat!

*Turn off the camera.
*Install a set of new or fully charged batteries into the camera.
*Turn on the camera.
*Press the Flash Status button to scroll through the flash options until Fill Flash(the lightning bolt icon alone, with no other letter or symbol) is displayed. This forces the camera to use the flash.
