My GE side by side fridge makes ice, but does'n dispense it nor water, also the dispenser's light doesn't work.
I don't know the fridge model, I think the the power conection between the door and the unit is somewhere broken or lossened.
The trouble then I don't have an idea how to check it.

water doesn't dispense ice maker ok had repairman out last year said they are having a lot of trouble with this model he put in a heater device over the hose behind the control panel and worked for about a year.2nd repairman says we need the door replaced if our warranty approves it due to the fact that the door isn't well insulated from manufacture. we are waiting for their approval.
