The blinking man who we refer to as Mr Bill is a "time for maintenance light". Just ignore it, the machine will keep working.

PRESS #*c* in your control console respectively then you will get a service mode,Check to confirm that there is A3 paper in the paper feed tray. If paper is insufficient, supply it, will ask for main code press 67 then press Start and machine will ask for a sub code press 24, then machine will give you another display press execute on that one, you will get a pattern print out. After completion of self-printing, the display is shifted to the output patch scan start standby screen. Make sure toplace the printed test pattern on the glass pointing the light side of the pattern towards the left hand side that is to place the light side coinsiding with the arrow marking on the glass table, place some white A3 sheet above this to correct the white value, press service and then press execute then machine will give you another print out then on that you press ok on that one and wait for the below display message.

PRINTER ENGINE HALFTONE AUTO ADJUSTMENT MODE

COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.

PLEASE QUIT THIS MODE.

After this press CA button on your console and check the copy, repeat the same procedure for 4 or 5 times if the copy quality needs to be get improved. Rate this and vote for this

if you find the button that says print copy fax on it press it until the light is on copy...

hi dear may you dont have put the origenal document proper or may be blank, just put writing side down on the glass or if u are using ADF put the writing side up side,

L4 is main motor drive overload. It could be a power problem going on with the copier. Are these copiers plugged into surge protectors?

If you can have a Sharp technician look at it, it would be a good idea to determine if the motor, power supply, or main board is the culprit.

The developer doesn't have a reset code.  It uses a calibration program instead with the reset integrated into it.
Even though the copy quality is fine for now, it can change in the next few days.  You should order some developer.
