Hi, are you following a link in an email, typing it it by hand, or relying on a link in your browser?
A, The link may be broken (it's mispelled, or taking you somewhere else);
B, It may be that you've miss-spelled it;
C, The link may have cookies disabled. (some sites require cookies to be enabled on your computer).

B, double check;
C, go into your "tools", internet options, browsing history, and click on "delete". This will clear ALL your history, including saved passwords on sites that you use regularly - BE WARNED!!! Try Facebook again.
D, do what the link says (technical stuff)...
IF, however you are trying from certain computers (like at work / libraries), they may have excluded Facebook / Myspace / Twitter etc from being accessed, due to possible virus infections.
make sure the computer name and domain are correct. And also when you are logging into windows xp make sure when you push the options button on the alt-ctrl-del screen that the correct domain is in the drop down list
Do you get this error when attemting to browse any website or do you get this problem on a specific website? Is your internet connection working otherwise?
