Oven turns on than electric panel on top goes out and oven shuts off.... electric panel comes back on after a few minutes

I have a similar problem with my Frigidaire FAM156R1A Air conditioner. The unit is stuck on a temp setting and occasionally makes a beeping sound. Repair tech came out and told me the control panel was broken and that this is a common problem. I wrote more detail here: http://www.epinions.com/content_404700761732

sl, because it't happening to both broil and bake the first thing I would suspect is the temperature probe. You should ohm it out. You can do this either at the board or at the harness connection in back. For the board, remove the back panel, there should be a 8 pin connector to the left of 3 relays. On the harness measure the resistance of the wires going to pins 1 and 2. On the shemantic it shows them being the 2 on the bottom. Should read around 1100 ohms at room temp. If you cant get a good reading on it there, Remove the probe from the inside oven, remove the screws and pull it out until the harness connector comes through, disconnect it and ohm it out from there. I don't think that both ignitors would fail at the same time so Im leaning toward the probe. Catriver.

you have a short in the Electronic Oven Control. if no error codes only two in this EOC

SOURCE: Stove top and oven will not heat
first check your voltage, and the pigtail connections at the stove, then check your elements inside the oven something has shorted
SOURCE: The electronic display went out on my gas range so
This is often due to loose or corroded connections in the wiring.
Unplug the range.
Open the rear of the control panel.
Remove, then re-attach all wires on the control.
If you see any terminals corroded, clean them with a pencil eraser.
If this does not correct the problem, the clock must be replaced.
