SOURCE: reset wii console

Step1First you will need to check a few things, just to make sure what the actual problem is.

*Check to see that all cords are properly plugged in.
*Make sure the sensor bar is properly center above or below your tv set.
*Make sure that nothing is blocking the signal to the sensor bar.
*Make sure that the batteries in the remote are in good working order.
*Make sure that there are no wireless devices close by that might be interfering with the signal. Step2If after all this the remote is still not working then it probably needs to be re-synced. Step3Turn off and unplug your wii console for a few minutes. Step4*Turn the power back on and when you see the the safety screen open the small flap on the front of the wii console. Inside you will find the red sync button. Press and hold the red button down for 15 seconds.

* Then remove the battery cover from the wii remote, inside you will see another red button.

* Press and release the red button, the blue lights on the remote will start blinking.

* Quickly press and release the red sync button on the wii console.

* The remote will stop blinking and it should now be synced.

SOURCE: Brand New WII Console won't read any disc's

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide.

SOURCE: error code 51420 on my

Error Code: 51420 The Wii console is not able to connect to your wired router or modem.

  1. If your connection worked previously, check to see if there is a Wii System Update that you have not aquired. To get the latest Wii System Update:
    1. From the Wii's main menu, select the Wii icon along the bottom left of the screen.
    2. Select "Wii Settings".
    3. Click the left arrow to get to Wii System Settings 3
    4. Choose "Wii System Update"
    5. Choose "Yes" to connect to the internet and perform a Wii system update.
  2. Make sure that you are using the Wii LAN Adapter made by Nintendo. LAN adapters not made by Nintendo likely will not work with the Wii console.
  3. Check to make sure you are not running the Wii LAN Adapter from a USB hub (a device that connects multiple USB products through a single device), as this will likely not work. Connect the USB Connector directly to the modem or router.
  4. Ensure that the Wii LAN Adapter setup is correct, and that the Wii LAN Adapter was connected with the console turned off.
  5. Check to see if the ethernet cable you are using is not working properly, by connecting another ethernet cable from your router/modem to the Wii LAN Adapter. If the connection works using a different cable, then the problem was with the first cable.
  6. If possible, try another Wii LAN Adapter. If you are unable to try another Wii LAN Adapter, or are still receiving this error code, please call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance.

Just moved and trying to set up my nintendo wii. im haveing a hard time to get it my internet on there i keep putting my SSID BUT IT KEEPS GIVING ME ERROR CODE LIKE 51031?

The following Wii error codes all have the same possible solutions, which you can read below this list of codes...
  • All Wii Error Codes between 51000 and 51099
  • All Wii Error Codes Between 54000 and 54099
  • All Wii Error Codes Between 51300 and 51399
  • All Wii Error Codes Between 52100 and 52199
  • All Wii Error Codes Between 52200 and 52299
  • All Wii Error Codes Between 52400 and 52499
  • All Wii Error Codes Between 52500 and 52599
  • 51130This is a General Troubleshooting error code and does not have any one specific cause. You'll need to try the following steps to try to solve the problem.
    1. Your wireless router sends out an internet signal using a specific "channel" (much like a radio broadcasts over the airwaves). You can change the "channel" that your wireless router uses to broadcast the internet signal manually. Nintendo suggests setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11, as these are supposed to be the fastest channels for download speed.
The Nintendo website has a guide that shows you how to change the channel on your wireless router.
  • 2. In addition to the broadcasting channel, there is also a broadcast setting. This can be set to either "G", "B", or "Mixed." Nintendo suggests that the "Mixed" setting gives the best network connection, but you might need to try all three settings to get the best network connection.
    3. Home appliances and other devices that are near to your console, like microwaves and cordless phones, might cause interference with your wireless network connection, so try turning these off. Other wireless devices like keyboards and computer mice can also interfere with your network connection.

Error code 32004

we need to start from square one... let's do this

Power on your Wii console and press the A Button on the Wii Remote to reach the Wii main menu. Use the Wii Remote to select the "Wii" button.

Now, select "Wii Settings" to access the "Wii System Settings" menu.

Using the arrow on the right side of the screen, scroll to page two and select "Internet."

Select "Connection 1: None"

(Don't see "None" in Connection 1? Click the Connection 1 button, then choose "Clear Settings.")

Click on "Wireless Connection" and then "Search for an Access Point."

(Are you using a wired Internet connection to your Wii console?

Select "OK" and the Wii will display all the wireless networks it finds.

Select the wireless network that is yours.

If you are prompted to "Enter the Password or Key," then the wireless network you are trying to connect to has wireless security turned on. You will need to type in your security key or password and select "OK."

Select "OK," "Save Settings," and then "Yes."

The Wii console will run a connection test with your wireless network when the test is completed. You should see the following screen:

As long as you see "The connection test was successful," the "Wii Support Code" does not matter and can be ignored

The connection test was successful - Then you're almost done! After your connection test, the Wii console will check if there is a new Wii System Update available. Once you select "Yes" and "I Accept," the Wii will begin to download any available updates. Click here to find out what's next!

The connection test was not successful - If the test was not successful, you will receive an error code.

Error Code 51330 or 52130: This means the security code you entered into the Wii is not the same one your router is set to. Look in your router's settings and try again.

As a last resort... 1. reset your router or 2. temporarily remove the password from your router... this way you will know where the problems lies.

Thanks

Getting a error 51030 trying to hookup netflix to the wii

This error code means that your Wii is unable to connect to your wireless network.
Likely cause: Your wireless router may need to be power cycled, or the connection settings have changed.
How to fix: Power cycle your router; redo the connection settings on the Wii and try again.
1. Erase your old connection settings on the Wii and set up a new one, as your router's settings may have changed since you last connected. We suggest following our guide to create a new connection file and start over. If at the end you still need help, you'll find contact information to reach our specially-trained representatives.

We have a error code 51330 ,while trying to connect to netflix

The 51330 error code is in reference to a wireless router security issue.
Solution: Reset* the router that your Wii is connected to back to it's default settings.
The router's default settings will put an end to the 51330 router security error.

*some routers have a 'RESET' button located on the outer casing, other routers can be reset using the software that came with your router

I'm tryin to get into my Netflix but error code 51330 keeps poping up and denying me access how do i go about tryin to fix this

This code means a network connection cannot be established. Check you connection settings to make sure you are connected to the internet. If you are connected your router may be having some problems establishing a connection with your wii. You may have to reset your router to factory settings you will need to read your routers manual how to do so. Every router has a different way to reset it to factory settings it can be as simple as pressing a button behind the router or having to go into the software settings and doing it from there. If you reset it try to connect your wii to your router again by doing this: Step 1: Turn on Wii Step 2: Select the Wii button on the left side of main menu.
Step 3: Select "Wii Settings"
Step 4: Scroll until you see "Internet" and select it.
Step 5: Select "Connection Settings"
Step 6: Search for an open connection by "Connection 3:None button"
Step 7: Select "Wireless Connection" and search for access point.
Step 8: Choose the access point desired from the list and save the settings.
Step 9: Test your connection. If successful you are connected to the internet if not go back and check your connection settings.
Let me know if you still have problems. Good Luck!

I am trying to update my wii so i can get netflix. i keep getting an error code of 32002. how can i fix this?

If you get an error code of 32002 on you Wii console, this indicates a problem with your Wii communicating with your wireless router.

There are a couple things you can try/check to help fix this problem:

1.Try using a different channel on your router and update your Wii to take to the router on that channel.
2.If your router is using WEP (encryption), make sure your Wii is set to the same encryption.
3.Make sure the MTU values on your router match those entered on your Wii.
Also note that if you make changes to your wireless router and you have a computer that uses that router too, you'll need to update your computer to match the new settings on your router.

I can;t connect to the internet anymore, i get error code 51030, i had made changes in my wirless router, and i don;t know how to reset the wii

Error Code: 51030 The only wireless network within range of your Wii console is not configured or is not compatible with the Wii.

  • If you are getting this error after completing a system update, this is usually because the console resets to using the first connection slot after an update. There are two things you can do:

    • If you know which connection file you were using before, you can select that connection file, then select "Use this connection" to change that to the default. You will need to do this each time they download an update.

    • If you don't know which connection file you are using, or if you would prefer not to update the active connection file each time, try to clear, and then re-create your connection setting in slot one before doing the remaining troubleshooting.

  • Check to see if the router you are using is a known to be incompatible. Click here to view our list. If your router is known to be incompatible, we recommend using a different router if possible.

  • Make sure that the SSID (network name) matches exactly to what you have entered in the Wii console's settings. To verify:
    1. Login to your router's settings (click here and select your router, if available, for information).
    2. Look for the section for SSID (typically in the "wireless settings" area).
    3. After you find the SSID (network name), verify in the manual settings of the Wii console that the SSID appears exactly as listed in the consumer's router. This includes making sure capitalization, spaces, or special characters match exactly.

  • Look up your router, if available, in our list of wireless routers, and check for any special notes that may be necesary to get the connection to work properly.

  • The router may not be assigning an IP address to the Wii console, and a connection using the "Manual Settings" may be necessary. Click here for help.

  • Your router may require a firmware update to work properly with the Wii console. Firmware updates can usually be found on the router manufactruer's website; consult the manufacturer for more information.

How do i repair a code 51330 error when trying to get the internet on nintendo wii

Hi,

The error code is basically telling you that no connection could be made to your wireless router. It could be for all sorts of reasons such as being out of range, or having the wrong WEP key (or other protocols) security settings. Don't forget to enter your encryption key in the connection settings on the Wii (the screen that lets your enter SSID, click the right arrow a few times to get the right options up)

If you can connect to your router with other devices you can probably forget about updating firmware or resetting the router. The configuration you need to perform will be on the Wii console itself.

You may have to reset the Wii itself or even your wireless router if all else fails.

Good luck and regards.
