Hotmail is a free online email service provided by MSN. Hotmail users can create contact lists in their email accounts, which allows them quick access to the contact information of their friends, families and co-workers. The contact lists can be easily changed, contacts can be added or deleted, information can be updated and certain contacts can be designated as favorites. Contact favorites are listed on the inbox menu for easy accessibility when composing emails or instant messaging.

Log into your Hotmail account using your Windows Live ID. This will open your Hotmail inbox. Click on "Contacts List" in the left-hand menu. Click "New" to add a contact to your list. Change gmail address

Hi
Go to Google and create a new email account, using the email address and password that you want (not your existing one !). Go to your existing gmail account and forward any emails and contacts you wish to keep to your new account. Make sure everybody who you want to knows your new address.
Run the two accounts in parallel for a while to confirm that you have transferred all the contacts you want, and then simply ignore your old account and let it lapse.
I have yet to find a way to positively delete a gmail, hotmail, or BTmail account without letting it lapse by not using it.
Cheers

Whats the best way to transfer my infomation and programs to a newer computer

For content, if you don't want to transfer it all to a flash drive and then transfer it to the new machine, register for an account at any (or all, your choice) of the following sites:
Dropbox (2GB free)
https://drive.google.com/ (15GB free)
Welcome to OneDrive (15-23GB free)
Once the programs of your choice are downloaded and installed, use them to back up your personal files to the internet. Then, on the new computer, install the programs and allow them to sync. This will download them from the internet. Move the files out of the folders to free up space, wait for the removal to sync to the old computer, and go back to the old computer to move more in to be moved over. Repeat this as much as needed to have all of your files moved over.
For programs, transfer any installation files you still have (the program you download and then click to install) through the cloud storage programs from above that you choose, then use these .exe files to install to the new laptop. If you don't have the .exe files lying around, then you can either hunt them down individually on the new computer (in which case, make a list from your old computer) or use a service like
Ninite Install or Update Multiple Apps at Once (it's free, by the way) to mass download/install most common programs so that you don't have to go hunting for them.
For programs that were installed via disc, you're probably just going to have to install those on the new machine the old fashioned way. You cannot just copy/paste program folders (though it's tempting) because installing programs writes values to your computer's registry, which cannot be transferred and certainly don't tag along with the program files installed on the computer. These registry values are what tell the computer how to handle that installation, so while some programs MIGHT work, most will not work well or at all without.
Hope this helped!

Change of email address

The act of changing your email address is simple.
However, you can save yourself a lot of headaches by doing some planning before you begin. Just as with changing your home address, one of the main challenges with changing your email address is making sure that you do not loose any important contacts.
Another challenge to is avoiding bringing your old spam contacts with you.
A third challenge is to find an email address that fits your needs.

Gather your contacts into a single list.
Remember, that you probably have a lot more contacts than just the ones currently set up on your "favorite contacts" list on your email account.
Spend some time going through you email history and identify older contacts that you may not have used in a while, but which you do not want to loose.
Think about your needs before setting up a new email account.
Think about the kinds of attachments you like to send? Do you need higher capacity? Also think about what kind of interface your prefer.
Some prefer a simple, bare-bones interface, while others prefer something more elaborate.
Ask yourself if the address itself is important to you.
Some people are quite picky about this.
Ask yourself what you dislike about your current service.
This will help you to better pinpoint what you desire from your new service.
Check out your options.
There are a lot of free web-based email services out there.
These are great for some purposes, but if you need really high capacity, or require greater security, then you might want to look for a different type of service that you will need to pay for.
Read the privacy policy carefully of any email service you are considering.
Make sure you are not making any commitments you are uncomfortable with.
Test your new address.
Once you set up you new address, have a few close friend email you regularly for a few days to make sure it is really what you want before informing all you contacts.
Send out a single mass-mailing to all your contacts, once you have established your new address, and tested it.
Be careful to weed out all the spammers before you do this.
Keep your old email address active for a while after establishing your new address.
How long you need to do this depends upon how much email traffic you have.
The more traffic, and the more contacts you have, the longer you should keep your address active.
Generally speaking, your should plan to wait at least one month before abandoning you old address. In some cases, you may want to keep checking it for several months. Change Contacts on Hotmail

Transfer Hotmail Contacts
Hotmail is one of the oldest free email services that is still in use today.
However, as other email services have been created, more and more people are choosing to leave Hotmail for greener pastures.
Luckily, instead of having to manually transfer your entire contact list to your new service, create a file that automatically transfers the contacts for you.

Sign into your Hotmail account and go to your inbox.
Click on the link for "Options," which is located on the upper right-hand of your inbox.
Scroll down and click on the link for "More options..." On the new screen, scroll down toward the bottom and click the link to "Export Contacts."

Enter an eight-digit passcode when prompted to save your contacts onto your computer as a .csv file.
After entering the passcode, choose to save the new file on your computer.

Upload the .csv file onto whatever email service you want to use.
Each email service has a different method for importing the contacts, but they all allow the file that is in a .csv format to be uploaded.
