Replacement parts for Infinity TSS-1100 subwoofer.

Speaker started smelling like it was burning and sure enough I opened it up and the main electronic board fried. I would like to either buy an entire electronics module or at least the mother board and do the replacement myself. Any idea who might sell parts.

I had a similar problem. There was a clicking sound and it smelled. Took the electronics out, The board was burnt up a bit right where the speaker connections go on terminals marked S+ (Green wire) and S- (Black wire). The 'Smoke' parts were 2 capacitors: C73 (6.8uF 100V non-polarized) and C72 (4.7uF 100V non-polarized). I just bought the parts online at: www.parts-express.com
    SKU 027-332 and SKU 027-336
The parts were less then a $1.
    I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Same issue here. 3 years without problems then the burning smell and finally it died. I've removed all of the screws from the back but haven't had success opening the unit. Anyone figure out a solution to fix the circuit board?

There's a seller on eBay who has a fixed-price repair for it...

Subwoofers are basically a mono amp. If you have replaced most of the big caps on it then I would go for the main amp device, the bit that does most of the work.

Have an existing ts-1100 home theatre infinity speakers

You cannot use this system with one that does not have a Subwoofer or LFE (Low Frequency Effect) output. Unfortunately, this sub doesn't have a line-level (speaker wire) input. Sorry.
