Dean razorback DB problem

This sounds like a worn nut groove. The string is sitting too low. Does the buzz happen all the way up the neck or just on open string?

I'm sure you have solved this by now, but I would recommend hooking the straight pin of the spring into the 1st, 3rd, and 5th holes on the trem, then hook the loop ends to the three center claws. This gives a variable or progressive rate of resistance, letting the trem gargle like Vai or Dimebag, but resists going out of tune.

the knob closest to the neck is your volume. And the other two are tone. one is tone for bridge p/u & other is tone for Lead p/u. which is which can vary. you'll just have to listen. hope this helps

You should take teh guitar to a Luthier at a guitar repair facility. Either the frets are worn (visible) or possibly the truss rod needs adjusting. Both of these need a bit of proffessional attention. It sounds like your particular condition is probably the truss rod... also are you using the CORRECT tension strings for the instrument? Wrong or worn strings can be the problem!

The problem MIGHT be with the guitar and this amp may be capable of presenting the sound from the guitar. Put a "fake fret" on the guitar... a piece of coathanger wire laid by the offending fret that will slightly raise the string for a test. Does it still buzz with the strings slightly higher, but at same tone... Note you might have to tune the strings SLIGHTLY with this fake fret to get on exactly the same pitch as using the normal fret... If the amp still buzzes with teh strings in no way creating the buzz, the problem is likely something in the cabinetry or chassis that is resonating at that pitch.

Try using a lighter guage set of strings and set the action a little higher if you need to. our local guitar shop should be able to give you good advice and do the setup for you if you need it.

It very well may be. Sometimes the volume is arranged so that it will not go clear down... Hey, it saves the manufacturer a lot of calls saying there is no volume by people who forget to turn the volume up.

First, I don't know how long you've been playing guitar but you need to make sure the strings aren't old and/or not kept clean. The oils and skin cells from our fingers will cause strings to break down in there elasticity, therefore causing them to lose there retention (eg. memory). If you have a locking system with floating bridge then make sure your locks are tight, but not to tight as to strip or break the screws. Next, if you have a cheaper guitar, like in the $250 range, you will experience this more often than not, especially if you don't have a locking system. But just remember that guitars have to be retuned all the time (just watch live video of guitarists like Jimmy Page and Angus Young, etc.) if you play a lot and really play the instrument to the fullest (eg. Dive Bombs, EVH Horsie, Pitch Bends, etc.). Also, when you put on new strings they need time to stretch before they find that place where they retain their memory so it's a good idea to play and stretch the strings using various techniques like bending and whammy (EVH has been known to boil his strings to aid in this). Last, but not quite the least, if you find your guitar going out of tune after just a few minutes and after all my suggestions then your guitar may have a problem with its INTONATION, which you'll need to take it to a guitar technician which won't cost much and you'll be very happy with the sound. One last thing to remember, if you have a cheaper guitar without locking system they're really not capable or designed for using the whammy bar that comes with most of them---this is just a feature for helping to sell the guitar because everyone wants a whammy bar---the guitar will go considerably out of tune everytime it's used.
