VOLUME WITH NO PICTURE FOR 60 SEC, TV SHUTS OFF,WD-73736

THE RED LIGHT CAME ON ON THE 3 DAY OLD TV. I UNPLUGGED, AND RE-POWERED THE TV. NOW WHEN TV IS TURNED ON, VOLUME AND NO PICTURE FOR 60 SECONDS. THEN TV SHUTS OFF. NONE OF THE FRONT LIGHTS STAY LIT.

Check the LAMP red light, the lamp may have burned out - or may have been faulty to begin with. You should contact the seller and have them replace it...after only 3 days, im sorry but that is just plain wrong - who did you get this TV from?

I unplugged the TV and held the buttons down and it continued to flash. I continued to hold down the two buttons and replugged it in again and it worked. TV back up and working.

Unplugged it. After looking for a new tv online I decided to try getting it to work. So, plugged it back in and held down the power button, a red light came on, held down the power button again and an orange light came on, held down power button again and green light came on and tv powered on. This was simply a case of trial and success!

unplug, hold power button, plug in. If that doesn't work, unplug all the HDMI cables, unplug the power, hold power button, plug back in.

I have a Mitsubishi model WD-60737 and to make a long story short 1st time problem lamp replaced fine for a month til my uncle hooked a DVD player to my TV next day turned on with solid green light then TV kept turning off after 2 to 3 minutes of beingetting turned on and a solid red light to show after. What does that mean? It's a brand new lamp and worked for a month so why shut down now? Could my uncle have did something to where it shook up the circuits or something?

Bulb is only 2 mo. old. i have sound but no picture. red light is on. tv shuts itself off

step 1. Try pressing reset button. step 2 if step 1 does not work. Remove front cover and lamp door press, defeat the safety switch with a screw to hold the lamp door switch in and check to see if the lamp turns on. If it turns on for up to 10 sec then turns off replace thermal fuse.

Mitsubishi wd-73736 bulbs buzzing noise

The Ballast that ignites the Lamp could cause the Lamp to fail and/or cause a buzzing noise. That being said, the Color Wheel in the Optical Block assembly could also cause a similar symptom. If Mitsubishi would be willing to help with the Lamp cost, I would call a local Mitsubishi repair facility to install it and see if the noise is still there and find out exactly what is causing it. Mitsubishi Customer Service Phone number is 1800-332-2119.
I hope this helps,
