If the two codes didn't work, try 1234, and 1111, and 9999.

Manufacturers normally have a backdoor, a four digit password to gain access into their operating software when the user changes the password settings.

Optoma people told me their default PASSWORD is usually 2468 or 8642. One of the two will work to unlock access to full menu options.

Remember to rate my answer as you can now enjoy your projectors 100+ inches :)

Where is the 10V 3300uf capacitor located on the optoma hd66 power board?

Capacitors are usually Blue or Black (Black on most optoma boards) and look like little cans. In most of the board I have seen online, if you have the power plug port facing you, the caps should be on the far right hand side.
Be very careful when dealing with capacitors, they will hold a charge for a very long time and can be deadly if the pins are shorted.

Where is the 10v 3300uf capacitor on the power board for an Optoma HD66 image?

It will be difficult to get. If the space allows, you can use 3300MFD 16V capacitor in place.

Ive just bought a new bulb for my projector (Optoma HD700X DLP Projector), taken the old one out and screwed this one in, but im still getting a read light when i turn it on, it sounds like it is...

Hello
if replacement lamp has done, was the lamp timer reset after replacement? and if the lamp is original, there is either a bad lamp or a cooling problem.
Good luck

My optoma is projecting white spots onto the screen. They seem to just appear. Some have began by 'sparkling' for a while and then they stay white perminantly.

if it is a DLP projector then the DMD on the engine is likely bad or the main board is bad. The white things are pixels.

H30 Crashing

The only thing I can think would be that the projector is heating up because the air filters are clogged.
