New fisher and paykel washer WL26CW fault code 245

Brand new washer today and tried to run the first load. After about 15 minutes, I get the fault code 245.

Be sure it is not the motor control assembly. If you receive a fault code 245 at the time of the rinse cycle. Shut it off and restart it from the beginning as if you at starting a new load. If you receive a fault code 49. Unfortunately, it is the motor control assembly. $200. That was my problem.

The drain pump impeller is seized; you just need to turn it a bit and will work just fine afterwards.

Fault 9 flashing on wl26cw fisher and paykel washer

Fault 9 LAH HIGH CURRENT FAULT The low ambient heater is drawing more current than expected. Either the heater or wiring is faulty.

Primary Action

- Check the wring and connections at both heater and power module.

Secondary Action

- Check heater resistance. If not within limits replace heater.
