Are you sure , that you are using genuine micorsoft xp cd, or have you installed the same from pirated cd . If the cd is pirated you would have to install a genuine copy, or make this copy genuine by purchasing a product key from microsoft .
There are ways to hack the problem free , but on FIXYA forum we would not be able to help you out .Try searching the free fixes on google .

i am using xp.i had turn on automatic updates and i have stupidly installed it on my computer.now a notification appears on my desktop .........and it asks me to resolve the problem by installing genuine windows xp professional..................
