If you have the small electronic Bunker Hill safe with lost keys and dead batteries, this is a potential solution... Take a hammer and strike the top of the safe while attempting to open at the same time. You may need to place on object on top of the safe such as a flip flop shoe to strike with hammer to smooth out the pressure when striking. It should pop open after several attempts.

Bunker hill safes have a hand held programmer (for installers only) that will allow a "power open" on the safe. Basically it is a small unit that contains batteries to provide power to the safe. It's kind of a one-last-open tool.

Unfortunatly you will have to go to a locksmith or installer for these safes in order to have them do a power open.

If you go to a locksmith that doesn't have one of these unit s/he will offer to drill the safe or pick the lock for you.

This may be your only option if you don't have a dealer in your area.

Open a bunker hill executive digital safe lost key and battery failure

A locksmith might be able to open it for a fee.

Some safes allow a battery to be connected by an external cable, but I don't know on your model.

An article suggest contacting the manufacturer using the phone number on their web site.

What does the key for a bunkerhill safe p 45891 look like and where does it go into?

Hello, Richard -

The image here:
https://www.terapeak.com/worth/replacement-keys-manual-for-bunker-hill-electronic-digital-safe-model-45891/162049295398/
shows the keys for the Bunker Hill safe model 45981. The keys are in the center, lower part of the image.

The image of the front of a different model Bunker Hill safe from the owner's manual here:
https://www.manualagent.com/harbor-freight/0-19-cubic-ft-electronic-digital-safe/product-manual-2
shows here the key "slot" is located.

Best wishes.

I have a bunker hill safe #93575, the battery is getting low. is there any thing i need to know about changing the batterys

Change batteries ASAP because if your batteries die you will be unable to get into the safe without the key. The batteries are located inside the safe. If you can't open the safe, you can't replace the batteries!!!

There are NO replacement keys available for model #45891. We've tried. I would NOT buy this safe again for these reasons.!!!

Bunker hill digital safe

CHANGING CODE ON MODEL # 45891:
On the inside of the door toward the hinge, you will see a small red button. Press this button until the yellow light on the front control panel lights up. Now you can imput the new code (1 to 8 digits) into the front control panel, followed by either the "A" or "B" key. The safe will beep twice (2 times) to confirm the code has been changed. Important: If the safe beeps 3 times, then the code has not been accepted and you must repeat the above steps.
DO NOT LET THE BATTERIES RUN OUT BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE SAFE OR CHANGE BATTERIES.
