logically when you get an error code not covered by the user manual , you would call for a service technician to come and fix it under warranty

its a Cold start Control... reset it and see if it happens again...
if it does.. check these .,...
lack of intake air volume (block air filter)
- Fuel injection system (Clogged fuel injector or bad fuel pump)
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

You probably are not going to get this working again... But, there is a small chance that if you put it aside for a week or two it may, just maybe dry internally and work.

if you bought it at a store and its not over its 30 day return, return it back to the store and get a new one if you can.

it may be in lock mode and that can be caused by the battery running dry

be sure you have the headphones plugged into the right hole, plugging into the usb can cause something similar to me.

Recheck to make sure you entered the code correctly - punctuation/capitalization and everything. If not, return it to Best Buy (or whatever retailer you purchased it from) or call Sansa.
