If you have too much weight in the door or someone pulled down in the door, it gets twisted. Try lifting up on the bottom outside corner of the door to straighten it up. You might have to loosen the top hinge to reseat it.

SOURCE: Freezer LFFH21F7HW upright is making to much noise

Hi, What kind of noise is it making?

Also have you tried moving the fridge slightly incase its up against a unit or sitting uneven as this can cause a noise if after this you still have the noise their isnt much you can do about it as its not worth replacing parts that are working fine.

I would move the fridge slightly or adjust the legs so its sitting even as this can cause a vibrating noise.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

SOURCE: my fridge door doesn't seem to close completely - No suction?

if you peel back the seal from inside out you should find some screws. losen the screws and replace the part that came out. to set the seal just heat it with a hair dryer with the door closed and hold the seal with a putty knife until it cools

SOURCE: Frigidaire 17 CF upright freezer. We are getting

It could be the button that the door hits on when you close the door. If you can take it out and clean the connections it may do the trick. If it really bugs you then you can twist the two wires to gether and it should fix the warning. This means the button switch may have went bad but if you know the door is closed who needs the annoying warning. Please leave a thumbs up. I can only try for you from way out here in the Raz Shack

My frigidaire automatic defrost upright freezer gets ice build-up at the top right at the front any suuggestions

This is just a general answer but it may mean that the door seal is leaking. Try running a dollar bill under the seal to see if that area is looser than the rest of the door seal.
Look inside the freezer for model number.

Frigidaire Freezer Model FFU17C3AW1 door not sealing properly?

Good Afternoon Vonaspern,

I understand that you are having trouble with the door sealing properly on your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU17C3AW1. I see that you have already checked to make sure there is nothing blocking the door from closing as well as making sure there was nothing between the door gasket and the freezer body. Next, I would check to make sure that the gasket is not damaged or compromised in any way. If it is not damaged, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your freezer and determine what is causing your appliance to properly seal. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Freezer door does not have the vacuum suction that it did have

Check the door is square to the frame and no shelves are sticking out stopping the door from closing properly. The seal should be magnetic and stick to the frame quite well.Check no metal strips have come off so the magnetic seal isn't attaching to the frame

We have a frigidaire upright (ffu17m7hwd) which formed a lot of ice and we are in the midst of defrosting and don't want to experience this again. Can you assist please? Had to throw food out due to...

Freezer burn to food is caused by air & moisture in contact with it.
There should be a tight seal by the rubber gasket along all the inside edges of the freezer door. This gasket prevents unwanted hot moisture and hot air from entering the freezer compartment and causing ice build up. You can test the integrity of the rubber gasket seal by seeing how the freezer door will pinch a slip of paper in various spots around the freezer door. If the slip of paper pulls out easily, there is not a good seal at that spot. If that's the case (which I believe it is), the door gasket needs to be replaced. By the way, ice will build up over time because you need to access the food in the freezer, hence you will introduce moist air each time you open the freezer door.

Frigidaire 20 cu ft. upright freezer went out a few days ago. Discovered bottom seal was not in place but fixed that. Alarm light stayed on through the night and freezer is not cooling AT ALL although...

Is your compressor kicking on? If not then check the contactor-relay and the capacitor. If that isn't the problem then it is probably your compressor. Which is quite expensive to replace.

We just bought a chest freezer and the suction is so tight can't open the lid .What do we need to do.

Most likely it isn't the suction but moisture on your seal freezing to the frame. Suggest a putty knife with a hair dryer blowing hot air on the blade and working it around the seal.
