I have a ge advantium speedcook oven #SCA1000Hww01. The top vent is broken and has fallen off and I need to replace it but can't figure out from the manual what the part number is. I'm sure

THERE IS NO EXTERNAL VENT NO NEED TO CUT ANY HOLES GO TO THERE WEB SITE AND YOU WILL FIND THE MODEL YOU WANT, THERE ARE SEVERAL--IF IT IS VENTED IT HAS TO BE IN THE UNIT NO OUTSIDE VENT, IT IS A HOLEGEN LIGHT BULD WITH A MICROWAVE

SOURCE: replace fuse on GE Advantium Speedcooker Oven

there is a fuse located underneath the outer cover, its called a ceramic fuse and is of cartridge type about 1" long by 1/8" diameter and has a white body and 2 silver ends and you can take it to a hardware store they have them but make sure to get correct amperage rating 15 or 20 amp

remove outer shell/cover, the fuse will be in a fuse holder about 1" long X 1/8" in diameter and is called a ceramic fuse,take it out,look on ends for current rating go to hardware store they have repl fuses, if the new fuse blows it could be your h.v. diode, capacitor, or the magnetron tube

The door on my GE advantium 120 fell off and I need to reattach it
take off the top vent cover , should be three screws ...hang the door provided nothing is broken off the door or the microwave.. after hanging put the vent cover back on. If your model has a little clip/postage size at the top hinge or if you think there is something missing at that location you may need that to keep the door from coming back off... It can be bought on line if your model needs it. some do and some don't if you found something near that area before the door fell off... then your model had one..

Hello, I have a 7 year old GE Advantium oven that the microwave has quit working on. The power and timer come on but the actually cooking element of the microwave is not working. When testing the oven...
I would first suspect the primary interlock (top door switch) or maybe that switch's mount is loose or broken.

Door switch or mount trouble is usually caused by slamming the door or by opening the door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first.
