How do i remove the caprp50 to a delta faucet 473-sssd that appears to be cross threaded?

IF CROSS THREADED YOU MAY HAVE TO USE TWO PIPE WRENCHES ONE TO HOLD FAUCET IN PLACE THE OTHER TO TRY TO UNSCREW IT MAYBE YOU COULD USE SOME WD40 OR SOME RUST REMOVEL SPAY TO GET IT LOOSE IF IT IS SO TIGHT THAT IT JUST WILL NOT BUDGE YOU MAY HAVE TO CUT IT AND BUY A WHOLE NEW FAUCET.

The faucet has lost a small screw on the hot/cold handle. The head of the screw has a red/blue design. Where do I get a replacement screw?

Go to hardware where your faucet is sold and determine what screw you need. The red/blue dealy is just a screw cover.

After a recent water main break, our Delta Model 473 kitchen faucet now has very low water pressure. It also continues to flow for a few seconds after turning it off. I tried unscrewing the screen and...

Check the screen at the hose connection under the sink. Check the hoses for any large debris in them. Verify that the water pressure coming from the water outlets under the sink is good. There is obviously a restriction somewhere...you just need to locate it.

Delta 473 loose connection to sick

There should be a nut holding the plate on. What is holding the u-shaped plate up?? You can't tighten the faucet from above. Seems strange the nut disappeared.

Delta 473 faucet very loose where it meets the granite

This is a view from the underside of our sink. Is this what you were talking about? The steel plate is W-shaped (upside down in this case) and has a single nut larger than 3/4". It's almost impossible to fit a wrench up there to tighten it.
