My friend said he fried this Power Acoustik PTID-8200 7" DVD player by connecting both the yellow and red wires to the battery. What is it that likely happened and how can it be repaired

Unless he connected the black to positive and the red and yellow to negative, it should not have fried his dvd player.

My unit is a used unit got the unit to power up and it wont tkae cd's. is there a special way to load a cd or any way you can help

sure you need 2 wires to connect to make it work properly one is bluewire for the romote 2 it's the either pink or bronw connect it to ground for your DVD's and it shouold work perfect.

Hi,I a model PTID-5850NR..... The plate the cover my screem is broken out and I can't work my features on it.... Can I replace the glass cover or is there another way I can work my featured with it........

I've been having a problem with my power acoustik PTID-8001N unit. When I put a cd in it gives an error disc. What can i do to correct this problem?

hi, you may run a disc cleaner for the optic lens might be dirty, hope this helps

Power Acoustik PTID-4007 Okay, so I checked my radio fuse, it's fine. Checked for constant and acc 12v. and they are there. fuses on harness are good. I spliced my adapter harness onto the PTID-4007...

i have Power Acoustik PTID-4007 my problem is not turn on lcd not out audio but yes is take cd and out cd, the screen is move in three postion. help me please

You would have to order it from poweracoustik.com. go to poweracoustik.com then go to contact and there will be a number call it an order.
