The bulb in my WD57735 DLP television went out so I got a new one and inlstalled it in the TV, now the picture is not as good as it was originallly. The TV is only a lilttle over 2 years old and had a great picture befor the bulb was replaced. Now when there is a bright subject against a dark back ground there is a haze, glare, fog, aura, (take your pick). If the whole picture is bright then it is as if there is a very light fog over the whole picture. Any solutions?

My Mitsu WD-52525 (DLP) also has this "hazy" picture problem. I also have a capacitor problem and upon pulling it apart, I saw that the small mirror in the bottom is FILTHY and so is the lens. Once I get the caps replaced, I plan to clean it all up before I put it back together. I'm hoping that takes care of it. I don't know how old yours is but mine was built 10/2004, fairly old.
Replaced the bulb and now the picture is hazy. It is somewhat a good picture but definetly not a HD picture. Had the cable tech out and he said it is not a cable problem.
