It was working fine before.
But I tried to take some photographs today, and flash worked for the first five minutes, then it stopped working completely.
The red light won't even turned out.
Pressed pilot button, nothing happens.
I don't know what's wrong with it, did the light got burned out or something? I've had this flash for not even a year.
Help please

exact same problem! its not the battery, I put fully charged batteries in and pilot light is illuminated. Its also not the camera to flash connection, because I cant even get the unit to test fire by pressing pilot when the unit is removed from the camera's flash mount. I read the trouble shooting in the manual and see no explanation for this. I too have had this flash for about a year. Is the bulb burned out?? Why does the manual not explain what happens if your bulb burns out?
I have the same problem.
I put brand new batteries in it and still no luck.
The red light is on. I press it and if I look at the flash itself I can see a very small glint of light but not a huge flash like it should be.
Just joining the crowd. I'm having the exact same issue with my Speedlite 430EX. Just changed batteries.. didn't fix it. Thank GOD it's still under warranty and I've got the paperwork. I'm sending mine for repairs.
Same problem. Flash is 2 months old!
