Nortel phone 2210 not working with Cisco AP 1231

Hello!

I've got problem with connecting Nortel 2210 Handset to Cisco Aironet 1231 AP.
I have configured handset with static ip address, subnet mask and default gateway. In AP logs i see this:
Jan 4 15:09:06.730: %DOT11-6-ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0,
Station 0090.7a04.490e Associated KEY_MGMT[NONE]
Jan 4 15:09:27.134: %DOT11-4-MAXRETRIES: Packet to client
0090.7a04.490e reached max retries, remove the client
Jan 4 15:09:27.134: %DOT11-6-DISASSOC: Interface
Dot11Radio0, Deauthenticating Station 0090.7a04.490e Reason: Previous authentication no longer valid
And on handset screen i see: Initializing -> No GW Response.
What could be the problem? PC and IPhone connected to the same AP works fine!

Thank you very much in advance!

Aironet 1100 ap amber led light

What controller are you using? You are correct - it is an IOS error. Usually the AP is not compatible with the WLC ios.

My Cisco aironet 1141N-ke9 showing red blinking continuously and stuck in that .Now only access via console. Can any one solve it

Sounds like the network connection to the AP is shot. Try a different cable, different port on the switch, or repower the device.

How can I change the default management vlan (vlan 1) to another vlan # in Cisco Aironet 1242G wireless AP

create a new vlan (eg vlan 10)
then ensure that the ethernet port is the same bridge group number as the new vlan (bridge-group 10)
do the same for the wireless port

then shut down vlan 1

Configure cisco aironet wifi

if ur using IOS autonomous AP, then u'll need to configure the bvi interface to get an ip address and then enable the interface. once it has an ip, u'll need to configure the ssid, vlan, etc - choices include doing so with the CLI or web page GUI. U'll need to enable the built-in web server then u can access it via the web interface to setup the ssid, any vlans, radius, etc. good luck.
