Police 10962js-02 battery information required

Hi, I am experiencing a weird problem with my watch. The watch has just stopped. So it doesnt moves the minutes & hours hand, hence doesnt show the right time. Its just stopped! On the other hand, if I try to start stop watch by pressing the stop watch button, the stop watch starts (the seconds hand starts moving). So I thought it could be a weak battery. I replaced the battery but the problem remains there. The watch doesnt move on with showing the right time. But the stop watch works fine. I was wondering, could it be because this watch has two batteries - one for stop watch and the other one for time? can someone help please? many thanks

SOURCE: Hi, Just got a Police Sway watch for my wife, and

Automatic watches need to be "wound up" initially.

These watches will generally run for 1 or 2 days before they stop - the thrive on being used.

Try holding the watch level and swinging it from side to side for a few minutes to give it sufficient charge to make it start. (Some makers recommend as many as 200-300 oscillations to make it fully wound).

If your watch will not start after the treatment described, it may be faulty and should be returned to the supplier.

SOURCE: I have a police watch

It may need a bettery. But also if u have an old style tv, with the big back. Old School. Plug it in and turn it on. Then Place the watch at the front and on the top edge face up for about an hour and it will help it to get moving. Sometimes they start to get slightly sticky. i actualy have one for sale. if you or anyone is interested. Can be contacted on [email protected]. Brilliaint condition.

SOURCE: I have had the watch for a few years and the hands have stopped, I thought it was the battery but the chronograph still works perfectly. What could be the problem?

You may have two batteries, there are watches with a lithium battery and a not so obvious silver oxide cell underneath. I don't know what watch you have so I cannot tell you for sure if this is the case

Hi, I have a police watch 10962j and I thought the battery had expired due to the hands stopping. It was changed by a local timpsons however the clock does not work but the stopwatch facility does!!..is...

If the stopwatch facility is a digital LCD display, then you probably have a watch with TWO batteries. One for the electronics and one for the analogue hands movement. The Electronics circuit board can be lifted out, revealing the smaller hands battery.

Could you tell me what battery goes in a police matrix10811j watch please

If you can find the screw in the watch or anything that holds the watch with cover, open it. If you can find the battery, remember how the battery is placed. then, buy a battery that is like the battery to be replaced and replace the battery!
