Hi, I am experiencing a weird problem with my watch. The watch has just stopped. So it doesnt moves the minutes & hours hand, hence doesnt show the right time. Its just stopped! On the other hand, if I try to start stop watch by pressing the stop watch button, the stop watch starts (the seconds hand starts moving). So I thought it could be a weak battery. I replaced the battery but the problem remains there. The watch doesnt move on with showing the right time. But the stop watch works fine. I was wondering, could it be because this watch has two batteries - one for stop watch and the other one for time? can someone help please? many thanks

Automatic watches need to be "wound up" initially.
These watches will generally run for 1 or 2 days before they stop - the thrive on being used.
Try holding the watch level and swinging it from side to side for a few minutes to give it sufficient charge to make it start. (Some makers recommend as many as 200-300 oscillations to make it fully wound).
If your watch will not start after the treatment described, it may be faulty and should be returned to the supplier.

It may need a bettery. But also if u have an old style tv, with the big back. Old School. Plug it in and turn it on. Then Place the watch at the front and on the top edge face up for about an hour and it will help it to get moving. Sometimes they start to get slightly sticky. i actualy have one for sale. if you or anyone is interested. Can be contacted on [email protected]. Brilliaint condition.

yes they have separate batteries because it has two module. the battery of the side that stop had to be change. i hope i had been helped you.
You may have two batteries, there are watches with a lithium battery and a not so obvious silver oxide cell underneath. I don't know what watch you have so I cannot tell you for sure if this is the case
