Im getting paper jam printing on a toshiba bsx5

Loading paper that is stuck together, frayed, curled or bent can cause a jam. Overloading the paper tray, loading different thicknesses of paper in the tray or using paper that isn't appropriate for your particular printer can all result in a jammed printer.
How to Fix a Paper Jam in a Printer

1. Turn off and unplug the printer. ...
2. Remove all printer paper from the tray and then reload it.
3. Open the rear access door or duplexer (or any other doors that give you access to the paper's path through the printer)
4. Close the doors and plug in the printer.

In the diagnostics menu choose ramclear and parameter clear should do the trick

This is due to the quality of the ribbon.
When the paper moves back, since the head is not raised, the paper rubs on the ribbon en is the cause of the black smudge. Use correct Ribbon

Im having the same problem, will print on normal paper but when I try to print onto Glossy paper it comes up with paper jam,or paper not loaded properly is anyone else hjaving this problem? Please help!!

make sure your drawer size shows 11x17 on display if not push user interface button then select the drawer and set it to 11x17

Exactly where in the machine does the paper jam??If it jams when you hit the print button, try cleaning the paper feed tires with WD40.spray it on a clean cloth, clean the feed and pickup tires thoroughly and make sure to get ALL of the WD40 off the tires before using the machine.If you take the paper cassette out and look with a flashight you should be able to identify the paper feed tires.

0128 is not a recognisable sysmbol Go to the Toshiba web site and the tech Support team- evidently there has been an error in the printed instruct as to the symbol number.
