Lap top freeze when trying to put it off.

Choose your Operating sytem and download.
NOTE: Using Depleted battery for long period time may freeze power management console, so in order to use a new battery you should calibrate the battery. or try Charge it for 8 hours staright.

try removing the battery and just use plug power only if it boots normally then change the battery and the change the power supply unit as well I would just start with the power supply unit first then see if the battery charges up if not the battery is bad replace it. Now if the computer will not start with the battery removed then you have a power supply issue.
Change and replace it. Hope this helps. Also when computer lap top get hot they will shut down to protect the computer wait and let it cool down then try to restart your computer. If this does work and the lap top restarts normally get a fan cooler that is USB powered and the lap top sits on top of it. Also make sure the fan is running and is not stopped. Clean and dust it out once in awhile. I hope this assists you with your problem. John

mcdevito75 here, You can try to presss the shift key, also try to put your lap top on, with either AC wall power or battery. If this doesn"t work bring the lap top to a local Radio Shack, or Staples for help.

Please try these. After on your pwoer botton wait 2 minites and the press FN+F6.

It is a hardware problem but first you can reinstalled the OS . if problem not solved the you can checked it from service center.

Try to run on AC power with battery removed. If still problem persists, then its time for repairs!!

press the fn key on laptop hold it down and then press the power key on the laptop. once u see any display on the screen you will get some tests running on the screen. The system will show you the error message which u need to note down. else you can do a Flea Power on your laptop. Remove the adapter and the battery and then press the power button and hold it down for 30 seconds then connect the battery and adapter back and try to turn on the laptop. See if the magic works for you

i put the lap top closer to teh router and it took it ,now working from other room

Screws, if overtightened or replaced with the incorrect size (i.e., too long a screw), can somtimes cause a board to short. Try taking the screws out completely and then see what happens. It's also possible your laptop may have a bad power supply as a result of the case having been taken apart or put together incompletely. If the first step doesn't work have it diagnosed by a competent repair person . Also, you may consider trying one of eBay's "laptop power" repair services postings. Some offer to replace your power supply fitting (rear plug) for about $50 plus shipping.
