Sounds like there is an error with the current firmware you have installed. you might have to go into recovery mode. to do so press and hold down the power button for about a minute and your blue light will start flashing and the recovery screen will appear. follow the prompts and it should work. keep in mind this is last resort and might format your HDD hard drive. you can also try going into your settings and scroll all the way up to were it says update console/ system and just update it. i know if you canceled a firmware update in the past it will create a problem were it will not function correctly because its not getting enough system packets from the update or it has missing packets when it did update. either way just update it and see if that fixes it, it will not erase the hard drive by updating it.

I think the most common cause of this with a pc is that windows media player scrambled the data on the hd.. you need to get a harddrive ide ata adapter , open the mv and connect the hard drive directluy to a computer then copy the files.. then reformat the harddrive in the mv then put the files back on .... i had the same problem with a mac but i dont know the cause since i dont have windowns media player.. im interested to know how this turned out.. i thinking of sending my drive to a drive saver company if it doens work out.. i neeeeeeddd my fillleessss.. aaahhhh

Erasing Network Harddrive

I'll go ahead and assume that you're using Iomega's home media network drive. That model has a built in USB 2.0 port, so you should be able to connect one of the Macs to the hard drive physically. OSX should recognize the hard drive and allow you to format it. If you are unable to physically access the drive (i.e., it's in a closet, wall, server mount) you may be able to still connect to the built in server on the drive and format it from there. I would recommend the physical method first though.

Dunno what happen??

When You Boot up your screen goes in to the windows xp loading bar and after a quick blue flashin screen pops up and it restarts unfortunately this is what they call the Blue Screen of Death so more than likely you harddrive with the os is corrupted so either you will need to reload the OS or by a new harddrive and load the Os on that Harddrive
