Yes call 1-800-sawdust that's the Milwaukee factory number. They can tell you what the spindle and thread sizes are so you can order a keyed chuck. They should even be able to tell you what chuck they have that will fit it.

SOURCE: drill chuck swap

1. Turn the screw clockwise to take it out.
2. Then you needs 3/8 allen key & insert the short side of the allen key & tighten the chuck.
3. hold the drill at the edge of the table & wack the allen key
counter clockwise & do it again as needed.
4. dewalt keyless chuck will fit but you might add a washer to insure the chuck is not rubbing the clutch collar.
5. putting it back together the other way.

SOURCE: Bit stuck in Bosch PS20 keyless chuck

These units have only been out for a short while and most are on warranty. Take it to a Bosch Service center in your area and they will replace the front of the unit. Unfortunatly this is a problem with this type of unit. The bit will deform slightly from the impacting action and lock itself in the chuck.

SOURCE: I have a Black & Decker 18V cordless drill

Look at the three jaws in the chuck,if on is further out than the others the you need to tap ti back into place with a small punch and a hammer. If this does not work then you need to replace the chuck, remove the screw at the bottom of the chuck[where you put the bit],then you will need to to clamp vise grip on the chuck and with it pointed away from you hit the vise grips with a hammer with a sharp blow downward and it should come off.Hope this helps.

How do you remove or reset a stuck drill chuck

If it is a reversible drill there is almost certainly a left-handed thread screw or allen bolt through the centre of the chuck into the drill shaft and this must be removed before the chuck can be removed.

If it is a keyed chuck select low gear if there is one, fit the chuck key and then strike it sharply with a hammer to jar the chuck in an anti-clockwise direction. Usually it takes only a couple of blows before the chuck is loosened.

Keyless chucks are more problematic. I hold them in a vice and use the drill in reverse which has proved fairly successful, though sometimes the chuck is only fit for scrap afterwards.

Lots of the keyed chucks can be taken apart for cleaning and lubricating if necessary.

Drillbit stuck

Can not see what model you have. Is it a keyless chuck or an SDS chuck? With a keyless chuck hold the machine in a vice by the drill bit. now tap the chuck with a hammer or pin punch & hammer. DONOT hit the chuck on the jaws gut on the rim around them. I have had success using this method. If it is an SDS type chuck pull the chuck cap up as far as possible along the bit them if there are any ring springs you will have to try remove them then slide the sleeve up the bit, now you should be able to remove any steel balls. If the bit does not come out now hold bit in vice as before and tap on tool holder.

Milwaukee Magnum Hammer Drill

If the chuck is completely jammed, you can replace it. If its locked but open, then you can remove the screw holding the chuck with an allen wrench. It's going be be tough because it will be secured with glue, such as loc-tite, and it will also be a left handed screw. So be sure to turn clockwise to unscrew it.

You can buy the part at this website, or at a milwaukee service center:
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/12-chuck-p-140621.html

It's a little pricey, but better than buying a new drill. You should also be able to have a service center put the part on for you, if you don't feel comfortable taking it apart.

Mybrand new RZ20 keyless chuck will not close around a bit.

If a large enough drill bit is inserted too far so it bottoms in the chuck, the jaws run into the bottomed shank and will not close beyond a certain point due to the interference. If you hold the drill bit out about 1/2 inch from the bottom, the jaws should close on the bit. I assume you have tested the chuck without a bit to verify they can close.

Keyless chuck has bit stuck in it

use some kind of lube like liquid wrench or wd40 and let it set for a bit. Then tap it with anything like a wrench, hammer, etc.

My keyless chuck will not tightten all the way closed....seems to catch on something

Open the chuck and see if the screw inside the chuck has backed out. The screw is left hand thread so you will need to turn it to the left to tighten it. It may be an allen or Torx head screw.

Black decker drill keyless chuck won.t open !

hold the back of the chuck with channel locks or a vice and use the same channel locks on the front and open the chuck manually it should work and you can get to the screw to replace it or the hand chuck. this can be a little frustrating but hang in there and you'll be a pro shortly.

Black and Decker Cordless Drill Chuck stuck in full open position

I'd put penetrating oil in it and tap the chuck with a plastic hammer. That should free it up.
