Some decks only give one pair of pre outs. Most 4 channel amps can use just a 2 channel input and feed the other 2 channels by the flip of an input selection switch. I recomend a 4 channel amp if you want to power front and rear speakers and be able to set the gains to blend properly, or you can run all 4 speakers at a 2 ohm stereo on 2 channels and run a sub on the remaining r channels. It just depends on how you want the setup to be nd to how much control you want. Let me know.

KENWOOD KDC-215S HOW TO SET BALANCE

Step 1:

Press and HOLD the A.ADJ (Audio Adjust) button for 1 sec. to enter audio control mode.

Step 2:

Press either FM (or AM) button to select the mode you wish to adjust. Keep pressing until you find the mode you require (in this case, it will be BL for Balance).

To change the value, press the Down Search or Up Search button to your desired setting. Centre balance is "0", negative number is Left speaker, Positive number is Right speaker.

Step 3:

Repeat Step 2 to select the TREBLE (TRE) mode, then use Down, or Up keys to change the value.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Scott

KDC-215S battery drain

You could add a switch to control the power going to the head unit. I have seen this done in many different vehicles where the head unit drains the battery, even when supposedly off.
