Try reinstalling the touchpad driver.
You can download the
touchpad and device drivers for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB site from their
download page. Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the

The two are not realy related any further than some site may have cookies for your session and signing in, I don't think there will be much stored that is used in cache unless you connect through dialup I think it must be pure coincidence.
You might try installing the driver for the webcam. If you dont have the cd rom, try downloading it from the Laptop Manufacturer's website. You will need your laptop's model to browse to specific driver.
Try using any other web browser such as Firefox or Opera to access You Tube. If other browsers are opening You Tube normally then restore the browser causing the issue to default settings.
It sounds like you had some web content that is no longer available as part of your active desktop. I copied the instructions for you on how to change it right out of windows help file. Good luck!
