I have a Napoleon natural gas fireplace (002294) and it keeps shutting off after about a minute. You can hear a click and then it goes off and shuts the pilot light off as well. Just started doing this.
There are a few things that could be causing this problem. The most common resolution to this problem is making sure the thermo couple is screwed tight into the valve. While looking at the gas control valve, you'll see a few wires and small metal tubes going into it. The one you want to tighten is the tube that is copper. Even if you get only a half a turn on the little brass fitting that's holding it screwed in, that's usually enough. If that doesn't do the trick let me know and I'll get back to you with some other things to try.
Its usually just as simple as cleaning the air inlet port on your pilot light! They usually take in a little dust or some cob webs that may develop when not in use. it is the little hole in the side of the piece that your pilot light comes out of! just a can of air duster and removing the logs off your burner blowing out the hole and putting it back together and enjoy!
