I had some wireless router problems and when the tech was remotely working on the computer to fix the router problem my touchpad suddenly stopped working. The wireless mouse works fine. The Everex website has drivers to download but after 2 hours of downloading it suddenly came up with an error message. Is there any help?
WHAT DID THE ERROR MESSAGE SAY
CHECK DEVICE MANAGER AND SEE IF ANY OF YOUR DRIVERS HAVE ? OR !
Do you have any mouse settings for touchpad in control panel.
I also know some laptops have a small switch on there laptops for turn off/on the touchpad
I would call the call back and ask him what he did if you can't fix the problem.
Sometimes techs have a habit of shutting certain things off and then forgetting to turn them on when leaving
I think your going to neeed to do that
you can also reset your router and modem
but i think the tech had to disable touchpad to repair and then he did'nt enable it again.
If it stopped afetr he was there then he obviously did something

There is not a ? or ! on any of the items in the device manager
I don't know of a switch but I'll check. I'll try to get ahold of the tech but I have a feeling it will be tough. I tried the mousepad settings but they didn't do anything.
