Android phones can sometimes get buggy with the text messaging application when something goes wrong in the "Thread" that the text is happening in. I would suggest clicking and holding on the "Thread" of the conversation [This is where it groups the conversion by person] then choose delete thread. Choose the person from the contacts list and try sending them a message in a new thread. See if this helps.
Sure !!.Check the service center number.(you can find it on the message settings area). If you already know the number, enter it.Otherwise contact custommercare and ask for the message center number.Save it and you're done
hi there, You need to set the message center number correctly contact your operator helpline or try deleting the messages in your outbox and saved items.
On every phone there are settings that can stop you sending texts. However all phones should still receive texts even if all the settings were changed. As the text message is directed to you mobile number you should still be receiving?
When you compose your text and select contact does the phone move them to the out/sent box?
Settings to check for sending are your 'message centre number' (your network provider can supply and they are normally different for pay monthly and pay & go) 'Message sent as' should be 'text' (not fax or email etc).
Text problems are common where people change or delete digits from the message centre number by mistake.
If you cannot receive texts i would recommend speaking to your provider for help as it may be your account details at their end? (beyond your control). Hope that helps?
Kindly check the message center number from your mobile phone if its already there or you can contact your Network Service Provider to provide you the specific and correct message center number. Usually, you don't have to touch these numbers. If you suspect they are incorrect, contact your mobile service provider and ask them to send an Over The Air (OTA) message with the correct information in it.
Please be informed that the SMS Message Center Number is a phone number that acts as a gateway for transferring SMS messages between cellular devices.
From the Options pulldown menu, select Preferences.
The SMS Message Center and SMS E-mail Center number should appear. (Treo 600 note: tap on the tab that says SIM). If you do not see any numbers, it means your mobile service provider does not allow you to change these numbers. But usually you can edit these numbers and your Network Service Provider will provide you the correct and specific one.
It might be that the number you are trying to send an SMS to is invalid, or has been blocked. Try contacting your Service Provider and ask them to give you a number to test your SMS sending service. If that works fine, most likely that the number you are trying to SMS is blocked.
