It's not possible to reset it. You have a failing membrane keypad, and the only solution is to replace the keypad.

Since you didn't post the full model number with suffix, I can't give you a step-by-step answer, but I should be able to cover it all for you.

On some models, you order just the keypad itself. I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.

On other models, you order the control panel frame assembly, which comes with a new keypad already mounted on it. This costs more, but it's much easier.

There is a YouTube video here showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Then carefully detach the membrane keypad strip:

Some connectors have a lock.

Then you remove your board (carefully since the display is made of glass) then place your board in the new frame.

You can find links to helpful exploded view diagrams and part ordering help here.

I recommend that you bookmark that link to your favorites.

Microwave won't turn on and beeps flashing numbers

Some newer microwave models will not function UNTIL you set the CLOCK Function ... ok
There should be instructions in your microwave MANUAL to tell you how to do this; as it can vary widely between different brands and models.

POSSESSED MICROWAVE!

wow.......... an exorcism may be in order.......Sadly your microwave circuitry is malfunctioning which is a costly repair. I would seriously consider trashing that possessed unit and purchasing a new one. the new ones are greener too, use quite a bit less electricity

LMVM1935SB - Over the Range LG - fan keeps coming on, beeping

The fan will come on if you are cooking below and the area gets hot.... is this when it happens? Sometimes random beep could be a power blip... not long enough for a reset of all things electrical

Chefmate microwave oven won't start, only flashes numbers.

Well I had the same problem. It made me start unplugging a microwave when it wasn't in use, which is always a plus.
When it does the whole 6666 thing, press 5 and then stop/reset. It usually allows me to input what I want after that.
Good luck people.

Microwave turns on randomly beeps intermittently displays PAN

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.

Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it and please reply back with your model number so we can help you.

Frozen Display

It may be that the internal firmware has become corrupt, or there is a fault on the main processor board, or with some other area that is effecting the system processor, and thus the system is not able to function properly.

Call the service rep for your microwave oven and bring it in for an estimate.

Random beeping and panel buttons not working

There may be a failure of some type in the system processor area.

Maybe some of the steam from the bioling water and oil and water from the cooking got inside on to the circuit board, and caused some damage.

It is also possible that the heat from the stove did some damage.

It is also possible that there was simply a failure in the system processor area.

Microwave

F3 occurs if the controller detects a key shorted for more than 60 seconds. Luckily, on this model, the "keypanel" as it's called is available as a separate part. If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety & disassembly info at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering the model number here: http://tinyurl.com/gv383 The "keypanel" is shown as reference number 44 on that exploded view.
