It is not the speaker. I checked using a different speaker.

need to be earth, attach wire form turntable to something that¬s earth
SOURCE: what all can I attach a turntable ground wire to?
Connecting to another piece of equipment besides the mixer introduces the possibility of creating a ground loop, which, of course, is not desirable.
Just make a splice using Stakons (crimper). Just cut off the existing
connector and crimp a (red) round crimp to the existing ground wire.
Then take a length of same gauge and crimp a round a (red) spade Stakon on the other end. Then take a nut and bolt and connect the 2 round connectors and tape with good black tape (Scotch 33 or similar). That will get you through the Gig.
SOURCE: one of my DJ turntables = only left side stereo sound
need to narrow it down, using 1 turn table ONLY with the mixer on channel 1 (the chanel that is working) to test reciever is working properly and sound working on both side of the speakers, this eliminate the first turn table. Next, disconnect the working turn table (1) and connect your second turn table to the same chanel and see if you getting the sound coming chanel 1 just as your first turn table did. If you getting sound coming out from turn table on ch1 than is not the turn table issue. It will be you mixer having problems. You cant solve the problems having everything connected. Testing one turn table at a time using working chanel on the mixer to see if both turn table working properly. If you use the same chanel testing both turn table and the second one does not work than it will be one of your turn table is faulty. Note: if you find and test both of your turn table is working properly than it will be your mixer. good luck and hope that help..
SOURCE: i want to remove the ground cable on my technique
The video you followed may well work ok with some mixers but not others. You will need to check your mixer to see if the ground screw is connected to the ground of the phono sockets, if it is then internally grounding will work, if not then it won't work.
SOURCE: Technics SL-BD22 ground wire does not reduce hum. Any solutions?
I have found out that the female phono plugs on the turntable are sensative and have to have a solid connection and often adjusted from time to time to eliminate the 60 cycle hum.
