BIOS must see the optical drive. Re-seat / attach drive if it does not. The other option is to use another drive.

How can i istall windows server 2000 on Dell Poweredge T300

Windows 2000 is not supported on this machine. The closest you could get is using a hypervisor XenServer or VMWare ESXi and then installing Windows 2000 on a virtual machine.

My dell poweredge 2600 wont load up

  1. Can you access the Bios configuration on boot by pressing F2? Check the setting
  2. By load up do you mean your server software does not boot? use F10 on post from the utility partition main menu under Run System Utilities.
  3. Is the server working with RAID? Press CTRL + R and check the RAID
I am not going to say check all the cables because I am sure you will have already?!?

Dell T300 memory config error

Verify size and type off memory. Also the slots used are a variable. There should be DIMM configuration table on the removable panel or better yet look for the manual.

Nic teaming on poweredge t300

NIC teaming is useless unless you have a switch that support teaming.
However, Dell servers have free lifetime phone support ((800) 945-3355).
They should be able to help.

Dell Poweredge 4300 Bootup problem after cmos battery replacement

Check the version for the Raid Controller. This may need to have the firmware to be upgraded. If the controller is removable, take the controller out and then see if the computer will continue past the bios. If the controller is built-in, then disable it in the bios, and try to see if it will get past the controller setup.
On most system I have worked with, if you are booting from a scsi hard drive, then the bios cannot be set to let any IDE to boot, or the bios must be set to no hard drive to boot. There may be two places in the bios which must be set to no hard drive. Another setting which may make a difference, is the scsi boot setting, if it has it. Another chance is that something is wrong with either the cabling or the controller itself.
As far as the jumper, that may be the erase bios jumper. Usually though, you have to move the jumper to one of two, sometimes three or four jumper. You would simply move the jumper to the erase setting, and then move it back. However, by doing that, you will lose all setting which had been set. Also, if the computer will go past the bios when the controller is removed, that could also mean some thing is wrong with a drive, or the boot drive is not set right in the controller bios. If a scsi drive is a boot drive, that boot drive number must be set right in the bios of the controller.

Msi 848p neo v motherboard problems.

Once you reset the bios everything goes to manufactures default settings. You will need to make some changes within the bios. You'll need the help of the manual. See page 3-20.
If your operating system is loaded on to the ATA IDE drive make sure you set bios settings as follows:
Connect the ATA IDE to MB primary master IDE port.
Connect the ATA SATA drive to the MB's first SATA port.

ATA Configuration
Set as, [P-ATA+S-ATA]
S-ATA Keep [Enabled] Set to [Yes] This enables the SATA controller.
P-ATA Keep [Enabled] Set to [Yes] This enables the IDE controller.
On-chip IDE configuration, "ATA Configuration = [P-ATA+S-ATA]".
Next go to Boot menu. Make sure the ATA IDE drive is chosen as boot device three.
First boot device [Floppy] (If you have a floppy disk drive connected.)
Second boot device would be [DVD/CD-ROM] drive. This should be connected to the MB's secondary IDE port & the DVD/CD-ROM drives Master/Slave jumper, set to Master.
Third boot device [ATA IDE drive]
If your boot drive is the SATA drive than set: third boot device to the SATA drive.
(Hard disk drive with operating system loaded on it).
Save your changes & exit the bios.
Keep in mind all ATA SATA drives are seen as Master drives. SATA drives are seen by the SATA controller & in order by their connection to the SATA port number.
Save & exit the bios. The system will auto restart. Windows should start.
