SOURCE: Copies shows: Call Maintenance M2

Hello, the error code M2 means that the machine needs to have maintenance done ( like tune up to a car).. The only way to clear it would be to reset the counters and the service tech mode.

SOURCE: code c 0200 minolta cs pro ep 2050

A c0200 deal with the scanner. You may have a blown scanning lamp. Dose the scanner find HP & does the scanning lamp turn "ON" it could also be the Lens HP. Was this code before or after you were there? If it was showing upafter you.. it could be that the Black Box is installed wrong.... Good Luck

SOURCE: i have a Minolta CS Pro EP 1031 Printer that makes streak marks

Drum cleaning blade has gone bad. Especially true if the streaks seem to get progressively worse as you run multiple copies. In other words run 10 copies. If the last one out is worse than the first one out it is the drum cleaning blade. Cheap part...around $25

I thinking of buying one of these machines

The Minolta EP-5000 is a analog copier. That means that it can not be connected to a computer to print to, it is just a 50 a minute copier.. It is to old to be connected, it came out around 1996 or so..... It is naot a bad copier, it is one of there old work horse... It is a up-dated version of the EP-3050 & 4050.

Minolta CSPRO EP 3050 turning it On appears display Code: C0200

A C0200 is a problem with one of the coronas - could be the charge, transfer, or separator.

First try resetting the code by opening and closing the main front door with the machine powered up and the error code showing. This should make the code go away.

It may or may not come back. If it does, clean the coronas.

It is necessary to remove the drum assembly in order to access the charge corona.

The EP3050 originally came with a self-replacing charge corona. It actually had a small spool of corona wire in the charge corona assembly, along with a small motor that advanced the wire every few thousand copies. This was prone to malfunctions, and there was a retrofit kit which replaced the whole thing with a conventional wire.

If you still have the code, and have no idea what I'm talking about, then it is probably time to call a technician. :-)

You will need to call an independent, as Konica Minolta no longer supports this model.
