The door catch spring on my IDL500 broke so I bought and repakced a complete new door catch assembly. Howerver I first tried to repair the spring but the machine would not work after and it still does not work with the new door catch. The red li power light comes on but nothing will happed when pressing the start button I'm 100% sure the new catch was replaced identically to the old one. Even with the broken catch the machine would work if the door was pushed tight closed. Its no doubt something I've done but I cant figure it out

no, turn the on / off button off, then turn off the power for about 5 minutes and then it should work again. and at some point do contact someone to look at it.

I have an Indesit IDL 500, the machine will start fine but after about 20 mins the Ist and 2nd button start flashing. Can you help?

Hi Niel, If you were to start the cycle from the beginning, where in the cycle does this occur? . So many code numbers for so many units, hard to keep up .Just note if heating is taking place and if drainage is correct. Hear from you soon.

no they dont have a reset button you might be able to reset by holding the on button for 4 to 5 seconds
