If it makes a humming noise for a short peiod then stops and after a while it does it again the drum maybe stuck and making the motror go off on overload try turning the drum by hand and see how it spins

Drum barely moves by hand. Pressing hard moves drum by half a quarter. I restart, same problem.

SOURCE: When start button is pushed, hums but does not run. Drum does not turn. Belt is okay

It sounds like it is the motor or a stuck/obstructed blower wheel. You can start by opening the door, push the door switch in, hit the start button & see if you can turn the drum clockwise by hand. This might get it going. if the drum does not move by hand then the problem is probably within the blower. post your findings for a follow up

My electrolux front load dryer is making a squeaky and drum noise what could be the problem ?

Okay... Julia Agramonte,

Don't run it that way...!!

The drum has not been properly situated on TOP of the rollers...

This could be because of a rough move...

or improper closure of the case after "MAINTENANCE"...

(to speculate about possible reasons...

Open it BACK UP... and close it properly...!!

A MODEL number would be PROFOUNDLY
HELPFUL
in giving SPECIFIC answers.

Hope this helps.

Error 53 on electrolux front load model # EIFLW50LIWO

The E53 error code indicates low voltage to speed control board. Check the wiring between the main control board and the speed control board and if the wiring checks ok then replace the speed control board.

Electrolux eigd55hiwo dryer snagging clothes

First thing to check is the drum alignment to be sure that it has not shifted from wear. Open the door and reach in and see if you can move the drum up and down or side to side (not spinning) but pressing on it. IF you can then it needs to have some guides replaced. However if it is tight then you need to get a drier sheet or something similar and run it along every inch of that tub and the paddles and the back to see if it snags on something.

Electrolux front load washing machine ew10001 spin cycle slow on "SPIN" setting runs fine through regular wash setting? any ideas?

Hello jamespeattie - Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and if issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.
